Why become a referee?

It is a great way to make sure you know all the rules of soccer.  You also get paid!

What are the requirements to become a referee?

It is recommended that you be 13 years of age.  You have to pay for a class and pass a test.  See the link for test dates and locations. You have to wear a specific uniform (provided by yourself) which will include a shirt, shorts, socks, whistle, shoes, cards (depending on age group refereeing), and flags (depending on age group refereeing).  You will also need to provide a bank account and an email address so you can get paid.

Do referees get paid?

On average, how many games per week are expected?

2-3 games per week is typical.
