Why become a referee?

It is a great way to make sure you know all the rules of soccer.  You also get paid!

What are the requirements to become a referee?

It is recommended that you be 13 years of age.  You have to pay for a class and pass a test.  See the link for test dates and locations. You have to wear a specific uniform (provided by yourself) which will include a shirt, shorts, socks, whistle, shoes, cards (depending on age group refereeing), and flags (depending on age group refereeing).  You will also need to provide a bank account and an email address so you can get paid.

Do referees get paid?

Is Training provided?

Does the referee have to supply their own uniform(s)?

On average, how many games per week are expected?
